JOB Detail:- Applications are invited from eligible and suitable officials for filling up one post of Deputy Director on deputation (I TC) basis in Mahalanobis National Crop Forecast Centre, Near Krishi Vistar Sadan, IARl Campus, Pusa, New Delhi(an Attached Office under the Ministry  of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Cooperati n). Details of the post, eligibility conditions etc. ar given in Annexure-I.  for the post will have the option to draw his/her Grade Pay plus Deputation(Duty) Allowance or have his/her pay fixed in the Scale  of Pay of the post in accordance with th Department of Personnel & Training OM No.  6/8/2009- stt. (Pay II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended from time to time.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment n deputation (including short term 
contract) shall be, not exceeding 56 years, a on the cl sing dat of receipt of applications. 
Method of Recruitment: By deputation (including short term contract). 
Eligibility: Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or 
Autonomous Organisation or Semi Government Organisations or Recognized R search 
Institutes or Universities possessing the following service, educational qualifications and 
experience, are eligible:­
(a)Ji) Holding analogolls posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or 
(ii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment ther to on a regular basis 
in the Pay B n -3 (Rs. 15600-39100) + Grade Pay Rs. 54001- or equivalent in the parent 
cadre or Department; and 
(b) possessing the educational qualification and experience as indicated below: 
M Sc in Agronomy or Agricultural Physics or Agricultural Meteorology or Crop Physiology 
from a recognized University or Institute; or ..~ 
M Tech in Remote Sensing or Geomatics or Geoinformatics with B Tech in any branch or with 
B. c in Phy ics or Mathematics or Geography or Agriculture from a r cognized University or 
Institute.; and 
(ii) five years' experience in Research or Application work after acquiring Master' Degre 10 

the related field.
